NOURISHING INGREDIENTS:

SHEA BUTTER: Provides emollience and deeply nourishes the skin, improving elasticity and flexibility. It's also used to treat burns and scars thanks to its soothing, healing, and regenerating properties.

JOJOBA OIL: A fast-absorbing, non-comedogenic oil with powerful antioxidant benefits and the ability to regenerate skin tissue.

SQUALANE: This component penetrates the skin, restoring and preserving the lipid barrier through its emollient action. As a result, the skin becomes softer and firmer.

CERAMIDES: Ceramides work like the glue that holds our skin cells together, preserving the skin barrier. A healthy barrier acts as a protective seal, retaining moisture and keeping irritants out.

PHOSPHOLIPIDS: Phospholipids are components naturally present in the skin’s cell membranes. They help reinforce the skin barrier and also act as moisturizing agents.

TRIGLYCERIDES: Easily absorbed, they help prevent moisture loss without greasiness or clogging pores. They have emollient properties and are highly antioxidant.

HUMECTANT INGREDIENTS:

GLYCERIN: Glycerin has moisturizing and soothing properties. As a humectant, it naturally attracts water. When applied to the skin, it helps retain moisture and improves hydration.

PANTHENOL: Once absorbed by the skin, panthenol converts into vitamin B5. Its humectant, soothing, healing, and regenerating properties help soften and improve skin appearance.

FOOD-BASED INGREDIENTS WITH COSMETIC BENEFITS:

OYSTER MUSHROOM: Rich in beta-glucans that hydrate, soothe the skin, accelerate wound healing, and improve tissue regeneration—enhancing the anti-aging effects of daily skincare. It’s also an adaptogen that boosts the skin’s resilience.

SHIITAKE MUSHROOM: Another adaptogen, it strengthens the skin’s defense against external aggressors, improves skin tone, brightens the complexion, and helps fade dark spots and post-inflammatory marks or scars.

LENTILS: A powerful antioxidant that fights free radical damage and promotes cell regeneration, improving overall skin health and appearance.

TURMERIC: Helps heal and soothe the skin while preventing inflammation. It enhances radiance, targets pigmentation, and provides antioxidant protection.

AMARANTH: Rich in vitamin E and high in tocopherols for strong antioxidant action. Recommended for dry, sensitive, irritated, or reddened skin.

OKRA: Contains gossypetin and gossypol, two flavonoids with bactericidal action. Also rich in pectin, which has anti-inflammatory effects and helps soften the skin. Improves healing of blemishes and wounds. In countries like Nepal, its roots are traditionally used to treat cuts, wounds, and boils.

THEOBROMA CACAO: A cocoa-derived ingredient that protects the skin from blue light. Prevents free radical damage and acts as a powerful antioxidant that shields the skin and helps prevent oxidative aging.

Morning and night. On dry skin and after applying your serum, use a hazelnut-sized amount and apply evenly to the face, neck, and décolletage.

TIP: If you wish, you can mix it with your facial oil, such as Byoode’s Amaranth Face Oil.
